Returns & refunds.
1. Standard returns (in-stock goods)
You have 14 calendar days from the day you receive in-stock goods (3D printers, printed goods, consumables) to cancel and return them, with no reason required, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
To exercise this right:
- Email support@ram-peripherals.co.uk with your order number within the 14-day window.
- We'll send you a returns reference and the address to ship to.
- Pack the items in their original packaging, in the same condition you received them, and ship within 14 days of notifying us.
You pay the return postage unless the items are faulty (see section 4). We refund the purchase price plus original outbound delivery within 14 days of receiving the items back, by the same method you paid.
2. Custom parts — exempt
Parts produced specifically to your specification (anything quoted via the custom quote engine) are exempt from the 14-day cancellation right. They cannot be resold and we cannot accept their return for a "change of mind" refund. This is permitted under regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
You can still cancel a custom-parts order before we begin production. Email us as soon as possible — if work has not yet started, we'll cancel and refund in full.
3. Trade orders
Orders placed under a registered trade account follow your trade-account terms, which may differ from these consumer-facing rules. If you're unsure which apply, email us.
4. Faulty or mis-described goods
If goods arrive damaged, faulty, or not as described, you have additional rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — including a 30-day right to reject for a full refund, and a right to repair or replacement after that.
Email support@ram-peripherals.co.uk with your order number and clear photos of the issue. For faulty goods we cover return postage and refund the full order including original delivery.
5. Warranty claims (printers)
Printers we sell come with a two-year manufacturer warranty. Warranty claims are handled separately from returns — we'll typically arrange repair, parts dispatch, or replacement depending on the nature of the fault. Email us with the printer's serial number and a description of the issue and we'll go from there.
6. Refunds
Refunds are made by the same payment method you used. Card refunds typically appear in 3–5 working days; bank transfers are same-day in most cases. We'll confirm by email when the refund is sent.
7. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights under UK law.
